UnitedHealth Group is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to lead therapy services, ensuring high-quality and compliant patient care within a home health/hospice framework. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate referrals, and oversee scheduling and documentation to support efficient center operations.

In this role you will manage clinical performance, guide care plans, and ensure fiscal responsibility while maintaining patient-focused service.

Formación

• Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• Current RN license specific to the state(s) assigned to work.
• Current CPR certification required.
• 1+ years of RN management experience is required.

Responsabilidades

• Recommends employment decisions for staff to the director of operations, including decisions to hire, fire, advance, promote, or change status.
• Responsible for overall quality of patient care and clinical performance of nurses and aides.
• Organizes clinical operations for the care center.
• Reviews requests for services and determines patient eligibility/suitability for home care services.
• Works with intake in coordinating patient referrals and admissions.
• Oversees scheduling.
• Oversees payor verification and precertification requirements.
• Reviews documentation and ensures missing, incomplete, or untimely documentation is resolved.
• Assists clinicians in establishing immediate and long-term patient goals and developing Plan of Care (POC).
• Regularly evaluates patient needs and revises the plan of care as needed.
• May provide direct patient care in emergencies.
• Participates in the on-call process.
• Assists with training of staff for quality care and fiscal responsibility.
• Participates in investigation/resolution of patient/family/physician concerns.

Educación

Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing

Current RN license

Current CPR certification

1+ years of RN management experience

As the Clinical Manager, you will provide leadership, supervision, and coordination of therapy services to ensure high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective patient care, while maintaining fiscal responsibility, facilitating patient care communication, and supporting referrals, scheduling, patient visits, and documentation as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Recommends employment decisions for staff to the director of operations, including decisions to hire, fire, advance, promote, or change status


• Responsible for overall quality of patient care and clinical performance of nurses and aides


• Organizes clinical operations for the care center


• Reviews requests for services and determines patient eligibility/suitability for home care services


• Works with intake in coordinating patient referrals and admissions


• Oversees scheduling


• Oversees payor verification and precertification requirements


• Reviews documentation of other staff members and ensures missing, incomplete, and/or untimely documentation issues are resolved


• Assists clinicians in establishing immediate and long-term patient goals, setting priorities, and developing Plan of Care (POC)


• Regularly evaluates the needs of the patient and makes necessary revisions to the plan of care in collaboration with clinicians


• May provide direct patient care on an infrequent basis in times of emergency


• Participates in the on-call process


• Assists with training of staff to ensure quality care, compliance, and fiscal responsibility


• Participates in the investigation and resolution of patient/family/physician concerns

Required Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing


• Current RN license specific to the state(s) assigned to work


• Current CPR certification


• 1+ years of clinical RN experience in home health or hospice


• 1+ years of RN management experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $88,596 to $132,894 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
