Job summary

Kph-Healthcare-Services is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to dispense prescriptions in accordance with HealthDirect standards and to perform all QA checks to ensure accuracy. You will manage inventory, oversee third-party claims, and maintain compliant patient records while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role requires a valid state license, federal regulation adherence, and collaboration with facility managers on staffing and performance processes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid State Pharmacy license and current registration.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions following HealthDirect standards.
• Perform quality assurance steps to ensure accurate prescriptions.
• Report dispensing incidents promptly as per guidelines.
• Follow state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Oversee third-party claims submission, resubmission, and collection.
• Manage pharmacy inventory to optimize turns while staying in stock.
• Maintain patient files and confidential records per guidelines.
• Ensure loss prevention policies are followed and report deviations.
• Maintain a clean, professional pharmacy environment.
• Facilitate communication between staff and pharmacy personnel.
• Work on-call schedule when applicable.
• Assist in hiring practices, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Perform MTM, IMMR, short-stay reviews, and delivery at discharge.
• Support consultants and maintain customer-site compliance.
• Meet or exceed budgetary sales guidelines.
