Job summary

Responsibilities

This position works under the direction of the Director of Business Development. Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain referral relationships, manage assigned territory, and complete patient assessments.
• Make sales contacts and analyze referral and admission data from the territory.
• Collaborate with business development, admissions, nursing, and other staff to facilitate referral conversion.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for program development and quality improvement initiatives related to customer service, referral and admission processes, and satisfaction.
• Build excellent relationships with prospective patients, family members, physicians, ICU and floor nurses, discharge planners, case managers, and payer representatives.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in a health‑related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Licensure: Current license in nursing, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech and language therapy required.
• Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in the designated licensed field, preferably with rehabilitation/LTACH and marketing experience. Sales experience alongside clinical expertise is desired.
