Job summary

Cincinnati Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a Clinical Liaison to coordinate referrals between internal teams and external sources and to support acute inpatient rehabilitation operations.

You will establish relationships with case coordinators, physicians, payors, and other referral sources, and ensure appropriate patient placement through clinical screenings in collaboration with Case Coordination and the Inpatient Rehabilitation Medical Director.

Qualifications

• Current clinical license and valid drivers license required.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between internal and external referral sources and acute inpatient rehabilitation operations.

Job description

The Clinical Liaison acts as a coordinator between internal and external referral sources, and the acute inpatient rehabilitation operations. The Clinical Liaison is responsible for establishing relationships with case coordinators, physicians, payors, and other referral sources. The Clinical Liaison will ensure appropriate patient placement through clinical screenings and assessments in collaboration with both hospital Case Coordination and the Inpatient Rehabilitation Medical Director. The Clinical Liaison works closely with hospital Case Coordinators and the acute inpatient rehabilitation admissions team to ensure a responsive and smooth flowing referral and admission process.

Pay:

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Clinical License
• Valid Driver’s License
• Desired Qualifications:
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
