Youth Villages is hiring a Family Intervention Specialist in Bend, Oregon. This role involves providing in-home support to families in need, ensuring no child is placed out of the home unnecessarily. Applicants must have a master’s degree in a social services field and at least six months of experience at Youth Villages.
The position includes flexible scheduling, extensive training opportunities, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, 401(k), and generous time-off policies.
Intercept® is an evidence‑based intensive, in‑home program focused on keeping families together by preventing out‑of‑home placements or facilitating reunification after such placements, including foster care, residential treatment, hospitalization, or juvenile detention. The program serves youth from birth to age 18 who are facing serious emotional or behavioral challenges or have experienced trauma. Family Intervention Specialists provide intensive, strength‑based support directly in the family’s home and community.
Schedule is flexible and non‑traditional, based around the availability of youth and families served. Applicants must possess a current, valid driver’s license, an automobile for work purposes, and proof of auto insurance. Community‑based staff will be reimbursed for applicable mileage.
