Job summary

Thibodaux Regional Medical Center in Louisiana seeks an experienced Oncology Nurse Manager to partner with the Oncology Director in shaping clinical philosophy and objectives for the Cancer Institute.

You will lead day-to-day operations of a busy oncology clinic, supervise the clinic team, deliver orientation and in-services, and perform a variety of clinical duties in support of physicians and advanced practice providers, while ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum of three years of general nursing experience.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of JCAHO standards in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Participates with the Oncology Director in developing and implementing the clinic's philosophy and objectives.
• Provides day-to-day clinical and operational leadership of a busy oncology clinic.

Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:

• 1. Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing required.

Previous Experience:

• 1. A minimum of three years of general nursing experience required.
• 2. Previous managerial or lead experience preferred (advanced education is desirable).
• 3. Oncology experience preferred.
• 4. Knowledge of clinical standards for JCAHO regulations in a clinic setting.
• 1. Valid registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Louisiana.
