Salemtowne seeks a Clinical Lead to coordinate and oversee the clinic and clinical team, ensuring compassionate, efficient, high-quality care under the Director of Nursing. The role drives clinical operations across the household unit.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, coordinating with the multidisciplinary team, and developing the resident care plan while maintaining safety standards and timely communications with residents and families.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • RN or LPN license in good standing with NC Board of Nursing.
  • Current CPR certification or the ability to become CPR certified.

  • Manages and administers nursing services within households or the rehab unit according to Salemtowne procedures and policies.
  • Assigns, delegates, supervises, and evaluates nursing professionals, as well as others involved in the household team.
  • Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates residents' physical condition when necessary.
  • Participates in documentation and completion of MDSCollaborating to provide best practices for the resident within the multidisciplinary team.
  • Assists all members of the multidisciplinary team to achieve the resident's optimum level of functioning.
  • Develops the nursing component of the resident's plan of care.
  • Communicates with the residents and their representatives and develops positive relationships with them
  • Communicates resident, family, team member concerns to the Director of Nursing in a timely manner.
  • Models all aspects of employee behavior and appearance addressed in the Salemtowne Team Member Handbook
  • Promotes safety awareness for both resident and employees.
  • Attends and participates in Neighborhood Council and Clinical Lead meetings.
  • Performs other duties as necessary and in compliance with the scope of practice.
  • Contributes to the performance evaluation for licensed personnel.
  • Interviews, orients, and selects licensed nurses for the household.
  • Ensures timely call bell response.
  • Participates in the nursing on call schedule.

QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing with NC Board of Nursing.
  • Current CPR certification or the ability to become CPR certified.
Physical Requirements:
  • Capable of standing and walking short distances for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull objects more than 50 pounds.
  • Stoop and bend at the knees, twisting from side to side at the waist.
  • Reach above, below, and at shoulder level.
Work Environment:

Works in a clean, well-lighted facility. Possible work hazards include bloodborne pathogens, moving parts, muscular pains, and strong offensive odors.
