Smile Doctors is seeking a Clinical Lead to join our growing orthodontic team. You will lead clinical staff, manage patient flow, and ensure high-quality care under the supervision of orthodontists.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of Clinician II experience preferred.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by State Dental Board.
• Radiography certification as required by State Dental Board.
• CPR certification as required by State Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist with positive patient experience and smooth clinic operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop clinical team members.
• Assign daily and monthly clinical tasks.
• Resolves issues impacting patient care and efficiency.
• Maintain smooth clinical flow and patient throughput.
• Place and remove orthodontic appliances as needed.
• Perform checks to maintain schedule adherence and flow.
• Lead patient flow and final checks.
• Manage remote monitoring dashboard, triage patient scans and messages.
• Ensure OSHA, HIPAA and State Dental Board compliance.

How you’ll make us better:

• Assists with ensuring a positive patient experience and smooth flow of operations within the clinic.
• Under the direction and supervision of an Orthodontist, strictly adheres to company policies, state dental laws, rules, and regulations.
• Leads, supports, coaches, and develops clinical team members.
• Responsible for assigning daily & monthly clinical tasks.
• Resolves any issues which may impact patient care and operational efficiencies.
• Maintains smooth clinical flow.
• Assists in placing and removing orthodontic appliances.
• Performs accurate and efficient procedures to maintain the schedule and patient flow.
• Performs final checks on patients and leads patient flow.
• Manages remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, direct patient messages and triage notifications.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, HIPAA and State Dental Board regulations.

Your special skills:

• Ability to set priorities regarding patient care, manage full schedules and multi-task.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to listen and understand information verbally and in writing.

Prerequisites for success:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated proficiency as an Orthodontic Clinician II role or external equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Clinician II role preferred.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.
