Job summary

Indian Health Service is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform routine and specialized laboratory testing across chemistry, microbiology, hematology, molecular diagnostics, immunology, and immunohematology. You will interpret results, troubleshoot issues, and ensure sample integrity and proper documentation.

The role requires ensuring quality control, proficiency testing, instrument maintenance, and compliance with regulatory standards while supporting lab operations and staff

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) with B.S. in a relevant field.
• Experience performing routine and special laboratory testing.
• Knowledge of quality control, proficiency testing and instrument maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing in chemistry, microbiology, hematology, molecular diagnostics, immunology, and immunohematology.
• Interpret and verify test results; troubleshoot discrepancies and equipment malfunctions.
• Collect, prepare, and evaluate patient specimens with proper handling and documentation.
• Maintain quality control, proficiency testing, and regulatory compliance.
