Arkansas Children's Hospital is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I-III to join the CC094071 Lab. This role combines expert laboratory skills with mentorship for junior staff and support to the Technical Chief in various duties.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of related work experience, with required and recommended certifications in Medical Technology. The position is full-time and on-site within the CC094071 Lab department.

Responsabilités

• Trains new employees and students.
• Performs advanced computer functions.
• Oversees data collection.
• Liaison to Pathology.
• Performs laboratory procedures and calculates, transcribes and records test results.
• Manages specimens for analysis, recognizes normal vs. abnormal results; communicates and documents critical values to the appropriate individual.
• Performs quality control testing, proficiency testing, and manual results review, IQCP review and QC Lot changes.
• Performs maintenance and/or calibration procedures on laboratory instruments and/or equipment then troubleshoots instruments and/or test system malfunctions.
• Identifies normal vs. abnormal results; communicates and documents critical values to the appropriate caregiver.
• Oversees section supply chain.
• Provides CPT updates, EPIC Charge review, coding discrepancies/worklist, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
