Job summary

Willamette Valley Cancer Center is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to support the Eugene/Springfield locations. The role involves specimen analysis, testing, QA tasks, and maintaining documentation. A strong lab background is preferred and some experience is beneficial.

The position is full-time with a general pay scale of $22.77-$57.79, dependent on experience and location. Benefits include M/D/V, Life Insurance, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Lab work experience preferred.
• AMT/ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Entry level with no experience required, lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with specimen analysis and laboratory testing.
• Follow procedures for specimen handling, processing and reporting.
• Perform quality control and maintain instrument calibration records.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance per schedule.
• Prepare reagents and reagents, stains and solutions as needed.
• Provide support to Springfield location when required.

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science

Biology/Chemistry with ≥30 sem hours in biology & chemistry
