KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in California. The CLS will perform and evaluate laboratory testing across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, transfusion serology and urinalysis, and will troubleshoot instruments as part of routine maintenance.

The candidate must hold a college degree, CA license, and ASCP certification, with prior lab experience highly preferred. The position offers a full-time, permanent role with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires college degree and CA license, plus ASCP certification.
• ASCP cert expected for CLS practice in CA.
• CA license or eligibility required to work in California.
• Prior experience in clinical labs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs and evaluates laboratory testing across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, and transfusion serology.
• Performs QC and instrument troubleshooting; maintains and PMs on hematology, transfusion, urinalysis, and chemistry instruments.
• Ensures compliance with CA licensing and accreditation standards.

I'm hiring for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in California!

The CLS reliably performs laboratory testing; performs and evaluates QC results in hematology, transfusion service/serology, chemistry, microbiology and urinalysis; performs trouble PM’s/trouble shooting on hematology, transfusion, urinalysis, and chemistry instruments; and more!

• Location: Near Lewiston, CA
• Type: Full-time and permanent
• Shift: Mon-Thurs, Evenings
• Requirements: College degree; ASCP cert; CA license; prior experience
• Pay: Starting at $50/hr
• Benefits: 401k; health, dental, and life insurance; PTO, etc.
