Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Valid California License as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Proficiency in automated and manual testing procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex medical laboratory tests for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
• Prepare and analyze samples, such as blood, urine, and tissue, for testing.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, such as microscopes and cell counters.
• Maintain accurate records of tests performed and interpret results.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss test results and treatment plans.
• Adhere to safety and infection control procedures.
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with advancements in medical technology.
