Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join our dynamic team. As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare delivery system, conducting laboratory tests that assist doctors in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. You will work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, where your expertise in clinical lab science will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes. This is a permanent position requiring 5+ years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• 1. Performing a wide variety of laboratory tests and procedures that require independent judgment, including both routine and specialized tests.
• 2. Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results by adhering to a rigorous quality control program.
• 3. Recognizing and resolving problems or errors that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results.
• 4. Maintaining laboratory equipment, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and troubleshooting malfunctions.
• 5. Assisting in the development and validation of new test methods.
• 6. Participating in the evaluation of new equipment and reagents.
• 7. Ensuring compliance with laboratory safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• 8. Training and supervising junior laboratory personnel.
• 9. Communicating effectively with healthcare providers to answer inquiries regarding test procedures and results.

Qualifications

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field.
• 2. Current and valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) certification.
• 3. Minimum of five years of experience as a CLS, preferably in a hospital setting.
• 4. Extensive knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
• 5. Proficiency in using laboratory information systems.
• 6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 7. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize workload.
