Location: Madison, WI | Employment Type: Contingent (potential pathway to hire) | Start Date: July 2026 | Pay: $27.40/hr (weekday day shift); $29.30-$31.30/hr (evening, overnight, and weekend shift) | Schedule: Choose your schedule! Tuesday-Friday or compressed weekend shifts (Saturday-Monday)

What You’ll Do

Perform moderate and highly complex laboratory testing following standard operating procedures
Execute and document quality control and quality assurance processes
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation
Prepare reagents and manage laboratory supply inventory
Identify and resolve issues affecting test performance or lab operations
Assist with training and mentoring new laboratory personnel
Support validation of new equipment and laboratory procedures
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Participate in inspections, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
Manage workload to meet productivity and turnaround time expectations

What We’re Looking For

Associate degree in laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or equivalent coursework/training
Working knowledge of laboratory regulations and quality standards
Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem‑solving skills

Flexibility with schedule and changing priorities
