Job summary

Harris Health System, Inc. is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform routine and high complexity diagnostic testing on clinical specimens at our Houston facilities. The role includes validating results, maintaining QC, and ensuring proper instrument maintenance and supply levels.

This is a full-time position with opportunities to contribute to a Magnet-designated system and collaborate with renowned medical schools and facilities. The ideal candidate will hold a B.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Medical Technology or related science.
• AT least one MT certification (ASCP/NCA/AMT) preferred.
• ASCP MT certification strongly preferred if using Associate degree pathway.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and high complexity diagnostic tests on clinical specimens.
• Validate and report test results; maintain Quality Control records.
• Perform instrument and equipment maintenance and ensure adequate stock of reagents and supplies.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
