Qualifications

• B.S. degree or higher in Medical Lab Science, Medical Technology, Biology, Microbiology, or Chemistry.
• One year internship in ASCP program or equivalent work experience.
• Registration as a Medical Technologist with ASCP or NCA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure satisfaction of users of department's services.
• Perform clinical testing in accordance with laboratory procedures.
• Prepare and dispense blood products for transfusion.
• Prepare and interpret gram stains and other procedures.
• Maintain Quality Control program.
