Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Lab Professional to join our team at Ascension St. John Owasso Hospital in Owasso, OK. This Per Diem / As Needed role supports high-volume, production-based clinical lab work in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include specimen acceptability, routine and complex testing, instrument troubleshooting, and timely reporting of results to aid patient care. Requires a relevant degree, MLS option, and potential ASCP/AMT certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, CLIA-compliant lab science, or Medical Technology.
• MLS degree or 1 year+ clinical lab testing experience required.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine acceptability of specimens for testing per SOPs.
• Perform routine and advanced testing procedures.
• Monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper function.
• Prepare reagents and controls; report results timely for patient care.
• Perform preventive maintenance and quality control.
