Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Florida is seeking a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory to perform STAT and routine complex clinical laboratory testing using manual and automated analyzers. You will report patient results and coordinate with physicians, nurses and allied health staff to ensure timely, accurate testing.

This role requires flexibility to meet staffing needs. Qualifications include a Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology or related field and completion of a clinical laboratory training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or health-related field.
• Clinical laboratory training program completed.
• Experience or coursework in hematology, chemistry, microbiology or related areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform STAT and routine complex lab tests with manual and automated methods.
• Report accurate results in a timely manner and communicate with physicians and care teams.
• Support operations to maintain and optimize testing capacity.
