Job summary

UF Health Leesburg Hospital is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist Generalist to perform diagnostic procedures in their assigned area. The ideal candidate is licensed and highly skilled in the relevant laboratory fields, and will maintain strong collaboration with Laboratory staff and other hospital departments.

The position supports a 0.50 FTE schedule with 7:00am-7:30pm shifts on a Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday rotation. Florida CLT licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Required degree: Associate's
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree
• Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license (FL) or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic procedures in assigned laboratory area
• Maintains excellent rapport with Laboratory staff and other hospital departments

The Clinical Laboratory Technologist Generalist is responsible for performance of diagnostic procedures in the area for which they are assigned. This position requires an individual who is highly skilled in areas that they are licensed. This individual helps maintain an excellent rapport between Laboratory staff and other hospital departments.
