Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform routine tests and support accurate patient diagnosis. Under CMS supervision, you will test specimens, ensure quality control, and report findings in a timely manner.

Required 1 year of supervised clinical lab experience and state-allowed certifications (MLT/ASCP/AMT/AAB). GED or HS diploma required; an Associate's degree in related life sciences is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in clinical laboratory science or life/biological science preferred.
• 1 year of supervised clinical experience as a medical laboratory technician required.
• Licensing/certification per GA regulations: MLT, CLT, AMT, ASCP, AAB; 18-month provisional path may apply.
