Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish communication is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required; certifications preferred.
• IATA certification is preferred for handling specimens.
• Phlebotomist certification preferred.
• Motivation to work in a fast-paced, evolving clinical research environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively in English and Spanish, verbally and in writing.
• Follow laboratory procedures per protocol and manuals.
• Assist lab manager with site prep for study conduct.
• Prepare laboratory documents (e.g., harvest logs).
• Prepare collection tubes, vials, and study supplies for visits.
• Monitor and document sample storage temperatures and inventories.
• Label and package materials for storage or sponsor return.
• Obtain samples per protocol and perform select tests.
• Assist with instrument validations and data gathering.
• Monitor supply inventory and ensure proper storage of samples.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, ICH, GCP, CenExel SOPs and guidelines.
