Job summary

Master’s or Doctoral degrees are required, with specific California licenses or CGMBS credentials. Travel may be required; the HQ location is noted in the duty statement.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree required to meet minimum qualifications.
• Valid California Clinical Chemist license, CLS (Generalist) license, or CGMBS license; CGMBS trainee allowed with full license within two years.
• Travel may be required; reimbursement follows headquarters location and bargaining unit provisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee high-complexity, CLIA-certified genetic screening laboratories for accuracy and quality.
• Ensure smooth laboratory operations and timely reporting of test results.
