Job summary

Parexel in the United States is seeking a clinical sample management and operations professional to support precision medicine programs and biomarker studies. You will collaborate with study teams and data managers to ensure samples and data meet protocol requirements.

The role covers overseeing collection, processing, storage, shipping, transfer of samples and data, and associated reporting and budgeting tasks. You will guide sites on collection and shipping and ensure protocol compliance.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years clinical research experience with academic, CRO or pharma/biotech industries.
• Working knowledge of clinical trials and clinical databases.
• Laboratory sample management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports study teams on all technical and operational sample matters and liaises with stakeholders.
• Oversees collection, processing, storage, shipping and transfer of samples and data including reporting and billing.
• Forecasts sample operational costs and timelines; reviews invoices to ensure alignment with budgets.
• Determines, with data management, how sample/testing data will be captured, blinded, and transferred for trials.
• Provides guidance on collection, storage, and shipping of samples; ensures protocol/ICF compliance.
• Ensures samples are documented, tracked, used and destroyed per policy, and maintains Parexel standards.
