Job summary

Dignity Health - Community Hospital of San Bernardino is seeking a Clinical Lab Scientist to perform complex laboratory tests across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and other disciplines, ensuring accurate, timely results that inform patient diagnosis and treatment.

In this role you will operate and maintain instruments, analyze specimens, conduct quality control, and document procedures, while upholding regulatory standards and communicating findings clearly to clinicians and care teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological or chemical science required.
• Current California CLS license or eligible (CLIA).
• Experience in clinical or public health laboratory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs approved laboratory procedures with accuracy across multiple disciplines.
• Maintains quality control programs and documents compliance.
• Operates and maintains laboratory instrumentation and reviews results for accuracy.
• Communicates findings to clinicians and other lab users in a timely manner.
• Ensures regulatory adherence and safety practices in daily duties.
