• Alternative bachelor’s degrees acceptable with CLS certification prior to employment.
• Maintain current certification according to certifying agency guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex clinical laboratory tests to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Assess test results for accuracy and reliability.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on instruments.
• May perform blood specimen collection and train personnel.
• Demonstrate independent judgment and professional certification as required.
