Job summary

Powers Health invites qualified candidates to join our team as a Medical Technologist. You will perform moderate to highly complex laboratory procedures and document diverse test results to aid diagnosis and treatment.

Under supervision, you will utilize instrumentation, analyze complex samples, and contribute to quality control. A BS/BA and MT certification with state licensure readiness are required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA and graduation from an approved MT School.
• MT (ASCP)/NCA or equivalent certification.
• Must pass certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate and highly complex clinical procedures using sophisticated instrumentation.
• Analyzes and documents microscopic, bacteriologic, immunohematologic and chemical tests.
• Duties performed under supervision of a Senior Technologist or Laboratory Director.
