Job summary

Tailored Management in Tucson, AZ, seeks a Clinical Lab Scientist I with 1–3 years in a clinical lab, hands-on FFPE tissue processing, and experience in histology and immunohistochemistry. You will support routine lab testing, maintain records, and work with cross‑functional teams in a collaborative environment.

The role is a 1‑year contract with potential extension or permanent placement, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, and a pay rate of $30–$32/hour depending on experience, with weekly pay and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Hands-on FFPE tissue processing experience.
• Experience with histology and/or IHC; familiarity with automated IHC platforms preferred.
• HT/HTL histotechnologist certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine clinical laboratory procedures per established protocols and quality standards.
• Prepare and process FFPE tissue samples for analysis.
• Perform histology and IHC procedures and tissue staining.
• Operate automated IHC platforms, with Ventana BenchMark ULTRA experience preferred.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with lab staff and cross-functional teams on research studies and daily operations.
