A leading diagnostic solutions provider is seeking a Clinical Lab Scientist/Histotechnician for their hospital laboratory in New York. This full-time role includes overseeing laboratory operations, ensuring quality assurance, and maintaining regulatory compliance while contributing to a life-saving environment. Qualifications

• Current NYS License as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist or NYS PA License is required.
• Degree in Medical Technology or a related science preferred.
• One year of relevant hospital experience in Histology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow pre-analytic and analytic procedures, maintaining meticulous records.
• Perform embedding and sectioning of tissue blocks.
• Adhere to all quality control activities and calibrations.
• Ensure all testing meets CLIA requirements.
• Confirm critical values to clinicians and patient units.
