Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.

• Working knowledge of GCLP, CLIA requirements, and other applicable regulatory standards.
• Proficiency with hematology laboratory testing procedures and quality control processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot laboratory equipment and perform complex laboratory calculations and quality metrics analysis.
• Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Support internal and external audits, inspections, and continuing education initiatives.
• Assist with laboratory training activities and special projects as assigned.

What You’re Doing

• Perform and report automated and manual hematology testing with minimal supervision

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree required

The Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Needed For This Role

• Strong technical knowledge of clinical laboratory testing principles, methodologies, and science supporting analysis
• Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to build effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of laboratory safety, infection control procedures, and hazardous chemical handling practices

Physical Demands

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $46,200.00 - $96,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
