UCI Health, the clinical enterprise of the University of California, Irvine, is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. The role performs laboratory tests by manual and automated methods, procures specimens, analyzes data, and reports results to support diagnosis and treatment across the lab.

Candidates must hold a CA CLS license, demonstrate excellent English communication, and be willing to work variable shifts. The position emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and compliance with hospital policies.

Your Role on the Team

Position Summary

Performs a wide variety of laboratory tests by manual methods or use of various automated, mechanical or electronic devices. Performs the full range of duties from specimen procurement through data analysis and reporting, in order to provide data for use in the detection, diagnosis and treatment of disease in all areas of the lab. Is accountable for accurate results.
