Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking a skilled clinical laboratory technician to perform a variety of diagnostic tests in the Clinical Laboratory. Under general supervision, you will help produce accurate, timely results to support diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Candidates should have an AS degree with 4+ years of experience or a BS with 2+ years, plus certification within 18 months of hire. ASCP preferred. Evening shift with every third weekend rotation.

Job description

Under the general direction of the General Lab Supervisor, performs a variety of diagnostic laboratory tests in the Clinical Laboratory to obtain date for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Demonstrates the basic knowledge, skills, and ability to perform a variety of laboratory tests in a timely manner yielding accurate and precise results with a low error rate.

Requirements: AS degree and a minimum of 4 years experience OR BS degree and minimum of 2 years experience. Minimum of 2 years of relevant technical experience required. Nationally recognized certification within 18 months of hire. Once obtained, maintenance of certification is not required. ASCP preferred.

• Pay Range: $28.06 - $42.08;
• Work Status: Evenings 230-11p or 2-1030p, every 3rd weekend rotation;
