Job summary

Singing River Health System Pascagoula, MS is seeking a Laboratory Operations Manager to support the Lab Director in day-to-day operations, ensuring accurate testing and coordinating staffing across sections. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology or related scientific discipline required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Four (4) years’ clinical laboratory experience in medical technology under a qualified medical director.
• Registered as a Medical Technologist by the ASCP or AMT; de-escalation training by orientation end (90 days).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lab Director in day-to-day operations of all Lab personnel and testing functions.
• Liaise between Laboratory Service Line and other departments within the system.
• Ensure accurate, reliable testing and adequate staffing of sections; maintain equipment and instrumentation.
