Job summary

Summit Spine & Joint Centers seeks a Lab Collector to support urine and cheek swab specimen collection in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will work with a collaborative care team to ensure accurate sample handling and timely results at multiple region locations.

The role requires travel to the Augusta, Evans, and Aiken locations, strong communication, and adherence to clinic policies. Prior clinical experience and EHR familiarity (eClinicalWorks) are preferred; full-time employment with

Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel to all region locations.
• Must be responsive and comfortable handling and processing urine samples.
• Must be able to conduct cheek swabs.
• Detail-oriented.
• Previous clinical experience.
• Associate's Degree or higher preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 1-year Clinical Experience Preferred
• Experience using eClinicalWorks or other EHR system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and package urine samples and/or cheek swab samples from patients for subsequent drug screen analysis
• Collaborate with all clinic staff to assist with the smooth functioning of the daily clinic workflow
• Effectively process messages between patients and administration or other medical offices
• Report to office manager and/or practice administrator
