Job summary

Qualifications

• AS or BS degree in applied sciences preferred.
• 1 year phlebotomy and laboratory experience preferred.
• BLS certification and Phlebotomy certificate required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient specimens using proper identification methods.
• Process specimens and ensure correct tests are ordered and documented.
• Perform CLIA-waived and moderately complex tests according to procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, staff, and patients to clarify orders and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain quality control and routine equipment maintenance in the lab.
