Job summary

The University of Southern California invites applicants for a full-time Clinical Lab Assistant in the Cytopathology Laboratory of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. The role supports technical staff in day-to-day operations, handling specimens, processing GYN ThinPrep PAPs, and coordinating with outside labs.

You will prepare reagents, accession and triage specimens, manage supplies and safety compliance, and participate in inventory control.

• Handle and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials in accordance with safety protocols.
• Maintain and organize laboratory supplies. Monitor inventory levels.
