Job summary

Labcorp in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our team. You will receive and sort clinical lab specimens, prepare samples for testing, and ensure accurate data entry while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Working Monday through Friday 9:00am–5:30pm, you’ll operate in a fast-paced production environment with opportunities for growth and learning in a global diagnostics company known for improving health outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3 months or more of specimen processing experience preferred.
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information.
• Ensure lab equipment is working properly and perform minor maintenance.
• Troubleshoot specimen-related issues.
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete logs and administrative duties as requested.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safety and quality.
