Job summary

CareDx is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Aide II to support the CLIA-certified laboratory in Brisbane, CA. The role involves specimen processing, data entry in LIMS, instrument calibrations, and routine maintenance under supervision.

The ideal candidate has an AA degree (BS preferred), 1–3 years in a lab, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential to ensure quality results and patient safety.

Qualifications

• AA degree required; BS/BA in biology-related science preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient specimen processing under supervision.
• Perform routine laboratory maintenance and set up consumables.
• Assist the CLS in bench laboratory testing.
• Receive and accession samples in LIMS.
• Perform instrument calibrations and maintenance.
• Perform data entry and maintain spreadsheets.
• Participate in materials management, QC/QA activities.
• Perform testing for special research and development studies.
• Comply with all laws and regulations governing lab operations.
