Job summary

Harvard Maintenance is seeking a Cleaner to join our team in the United States. You will perform basic cleaning of common areas, restrooms, entrances, and offices, with duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash disposal, and restocking supplies.

We offer multiple shifts, including full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities, with a competitive salary of $17.50 per hour and benefits such as medical, dental, life, LTD, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Must be willing to work assigned hours.
• Capable of performing physical duties (bending, kneeling, lifting, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Perform basic cleaning of all common areas.
• Clean, sanitize, restock restrooms and break rooms.
• Empty trash and recycling; dispose of waste properly.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and vacuums.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• May assist with additional duties as needed, including spill cleanup.

A day in the life

A Cleaner is responsible for basic cleaning, including cleaning of all common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators, walkways, windows, furniture, fixtures, stairs, chairs, tables, telephones, drinking fountains, trashing, dusting, polishing, and other assigned items/areas. We have multiple shifts available as well as both full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities.

• Responsible for all basic cleaning
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling bins, and dispose of waste properly
• Cleaning includes sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in all areas
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuumsFollow all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
• Performs additional duties as required, including attending to flooded areas, incidental spills, and related clean-up work for trash and restroom concerns
