Job summary

A nonprofit organization in Boston is seeking interns to contribute to their mission of supporting LGBTQ+ youth and families. Interns will learn new clinical interventions, strengthen documentation skills, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Applicants must be pursuing a Master’s in the mental health field and possess good communication skills. This internship provides opportunities for professional growth and access to ongoing training. Qualifications

  • Minimum working towards a Master’s degree or above in the mental health field (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC or LMFT).
  • Clinical interest in working with children/adolescents is required and familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment preferred.
  • Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.

Boston GLASS offers a range of services to LGBTQ+ youth of color and their allies in the Greater Boston area. As a leader in LGBTQ+ youth services, we also provide education and consultation to other providers and community organizations. Throughout your internship with our team, you will have the opportunity to express your passion for helping others by contributing to our mission. Our staff deliver strength-based, needs-driven approaches, focusing on culturally competent, personalized services rooted in evidence-based practices.

During Your Internship You Will:

Requirements:
