Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Clinical Informatics professional to support the adoption of clinical information systems and optimize care delivery at Chester County Hospital. The role emphasizes training, EHR personalization, and end-user support for nurses, providers, and ancillary departments.

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Informatics, you will collaborate with informatics colleagues, managers, and clinicians to drive clinical transformation and improve safety, quality, and efficiency

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing, APP, or related clinical field.
3+ years clinical experience; informatics experience preferred.
Certification in Informatics (or EPIC Informatics) preferred within 2 years.

Responsibilities

Coordinate clinical readiness activities for new providers, including training and personalization of EHR workflows.
Provide on-site end-user support and 24/7 on-call assistance for issues impacting patient care.
Act as Clinician Informatics Champion/Advocate across Magnet, Joint Commission, nursing and provider councils.
Engage clinical staff in discussions on new functionality, setup, reporting decisions, and EHR usability.
Promote optimal EHR usability through testing, release cycles, break-fixes, and documentation.
Lead/participate in multi-disciplinary informatics projects and coordinate with vendors as needed.
Maintain project documentation and support care transitions between care settings.
Support ongoing professional development and knowledge sharing within Penn Medicine.
