Jobot is seeking a Healthcare Sr. Clinical Informaticist in Los Angeles to lead the implementation, development and ongoing support of clinical information systems.

This permanent role combines healthcare knowledge with technical expertise to improve patient care and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has 5+ years with Oracle Health/Cerner, strong documentation skills, and proven project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 4 additional years of related experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Oracle Health/Cerner in implementation, testing, and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

• Implement and develop clinical applications per provider and patient needs.
• Participate in workflow design, build, implementation, evaluation, and end-user education.
• Collaborate with internal resources and vendors to upgrade software and conduct testing.
• Lead new projects, delegate work, and review team outputs.
• Analyze applications and recommend improvements.
• Troubleshoot problems and end-user issues with vendors to resolve errors.
• Support interfaces for inbound/outbound data and write user documentation.
• Maintain system procedures and provide training to users.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Clinical Information Systems Analyst to join our Tech Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play an integral role in the implementation, development, and continuous improvement of our clinical applications. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to use your technical skills and healthcare knowledge to make a significant impact on our organization and the patients we serve.

Responsibilities

• Implement and develop assigned clinical applications, ensuring they meet the needs of our healthcare providers and patients.
• Actively participate in workflow design, build, implementation, evaluation, and end-user education.
• Work closely with internal resources and vendors to upgrade applicable software or enhancements, including testing any new functionalities, enhancements, or upgrades.
• Lead new projects as assigned, including delegating work and reviewing others' work products.
• Analyze applications and make recommendations for improvement.
• Troubleshoot problems and errors produced by applications and end-users, working closely with end-users and vendors to effectively correct the problems.
• Support and troubleshoot interfaces for inbound/outbound data.
• Determine operational objectives by analyzing functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats.
• Provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation, providing help desk support, and training users.
• Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, an additional 4 years of experience in a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Health/Cerner, including implementation, testing, and ongoing support.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is required.
• Strong analytical skills to find solutions to complex technical or administrative problems.
• Ability to assess the economic feasibility of options and the time involved in system changes.
• Excellent documentation skills in business language.
• Ability to communicate the impact and solutions of application/system problems in business language.
• Proven track record of managing projects and delegating work effectively.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting interfaces for inbound/outbound data.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train users and maintain user documentation.
