Job summary

Harboroaks is seeking a dedicated housekeeping professional to maintain a clean patient care environment and support facility operations in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfecting rooms, stocking supplies, laundering linens and following infection control protocols to ensure safe care environments. A high school diploma and prior healthcare housekeeping experience are preferred, with CPR and de-escalation certifications often required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping in a clinical, healthcare or commercial environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and custodial tasks for general upkeep, sanitation and cleanliness of the facility.
• Disinfect rooms, furniture, fixtures, equipment and supplies using appropriate processes and germicides.
• Move and arrange furniture, turn mattresses, clean kitchens and floors as needed.
• Launder soiled linens as directed and stock supplies for department use.
• Follow all infection control measures and proper storage of equipment after each shift.
• Prepare rooms for meetings and facility functions.
