About the Job

Coaching is an integral part of the Goodpath client experience. We are looking to hire a health coach who can deliver a best-in-class, medically-oriented coaching experience, helping our clients achieve the best possible outcomes toward better whole-person health. While this will be a part-time job at the outset, there is a path to full time as we continue to launch with additional employers and your caseload grows.

The coach will:

• Manage programs for a member panel with musculoskeletal pain, sleep, digestive, mental health, cancer survivorship, and weight and diabetes management issues to help them achieve better results
• Conduct telehealth visits focused on behavioral coaching and Goodpath program adherence
• Review health content for quality and patient understanding and providing feedback to other healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with other coaches and team members
• Utilize your specific clinical training and background to help define best standards for coaching and delivery of a novel digital health product

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s health sciences degree in nursing, advanced practice (NP, PA), behavioral psychology, nutrition, physical therapy or equivalent
• 3+ years experience in direct patient care, such as in physical therapy clinic, cardiac rehab, inpatient hospital setting, outpatient hospital setting, nutrition counseling (note that health/wellness coaching, fitness, and educator experiences do not count toward this)
• Excellent communication and written skills
• The ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
• The desire to be an integral part of a team passionate about healthcare innovation
• The ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing telehealth
• 2+ years experience in health coaching
• NBC-HWC Coaching Certification

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly rate: $35-$45
• Flexible hours, anticipated 10-30 hours per week
• This is a 1099 contract role without health benefits, with the potential to convert into full time with benefits
