Job summary

The University of South Florida in Tampa seeks a physician board certified or eligible in Clinical Genetics for a full-time Clinical Faculty position at the Assistant Professor level or above. The successful candidate will join a team of geneticists, counselors, dietitians, and researchers and will provide genetic/metabolic care to both pediatric and adult patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or board eligible in Clinical Genetics and Genomics.
• Eligible for full/unrestricted Florida Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage pediatric and adult patients with genetic/metabolic disorders in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Participate in education and training of medical students, residents, and genetic counselor students; participate in research and clinical trials.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including genetic counselors, nurses, dietitians, and researchers.
