Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking a Clinical Geneticist to join the Division of Medical Genetics and Genomics. The role covers clinical care for both adult and pediatric patients, including prenatal, cancer, and pharmacogenetics services, with opportunities for teaching and research.

The successful candidate will be MD or MD/PhD, board certified or eligible in Clinical Genetics, with preferred experience in molecular genetics.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD and board certified/eligible in Clinical Genetics.
• Board certification/eligibility or experience in clinical molecular genetics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for adult and pediatric patients in General Genetics/Dysmorphology and Prenatal Genetics.
• Involvement in inpatient consultations and outpatient clinics.
• Contribute to teaching activities and potential clinical research.
• Support from a multidisciplinary genetics team and subspecialty programs.
