At Home Healthcare of Middle Tennessee is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to directly supervise patient services personnel and case managers. The role coordinates care, performs case management as needed, and ensures compliance with accreditation and federal/state guidelines.
The position reports to the Director of Patient Care Services and requires an RN license in Kentucky, a bachelor’s degree in nursing, and supervisory experience.
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing direct supervision of all patient services personnel and case managers. The Clinical Supervisor coordinates all care services and can perform case management functions if needed. The Clinical Supervisor is in compliance with all the accreditation, federal, and state regulations, and reimbursement guidelines as well as Agency policies and procedures. This position reports to the Director of Patient Care Services.
Pay: $40/Hour + Mileage
The following duties are normal for this position. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program and current RN licensure in Kentucky with at least two years of nursing practice experience in home care and one year supervisory experience. CPR certification and TB skin test or willingness to receive.
Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret intake orders, insurance documents, financial reports, and medical orders. Ability to respond to common inquiries from patients. Ability to communicate professionally with other medical professionals, colleagues, and members of the community. Effectively listens to others and provides relevant and timely information to management, colleagues, and patients.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Environmental Demands: Ability to adapt and perform job duties in a normal office environment.
Physical Demands: Primarily sedentary, with the ability to occasionally stand, walk, use hands to handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, smell, manipulate up to 50 pounds, lift up to 30 pounds of office supplies, and ability to walk up and down a normal flight of stairs. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
