Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services in New York City is seeking dedicated Clinical Fellows to join our NYC team and work with children and families in homes, clinics, and community settings. You will provide pediatric therapy services and evaluations for birth through 21 years, educate families on intervention strategies, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and maintain accurate progress notes.

Salary ranges from $58,000 to $65,000 and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Passing score on the Praxis required.
• Self-motivated and a team player with patience and professionalism.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children birth–21 years in natural settings.
• Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies for active involvement.
• Work in diverse settings including client homes, daycare centers, preschools, clinics, and community settings.
• Follow the therapy plan and address goals while documenting progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated.
• Maintain child records and confidentiality in line with HIPAA and regulations.

New York City Location:

Positions are available throughout Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island boroughs.

Come and join a team of passionate therapists providing excellent pediatric therapy. We specialize in conducting evaluations and providing ongoing services in homes, community, and clinic settings. Achieve Beyond is centered around a culture of collaboration and support, to ensure our services are of the highest quality and adhere to our strong ethical standards. We currently offer ABA, Speech, Occupational, Social Work, and Physical therapy as well as Special Education/SEIT services. We serve children and families in the metro New York area (all 5 boroughs of NYC, Hudson Valley, Long Island and Albany), Virginia/DC area, Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut and Delaware.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth – 21 years in a natural setting.
• Educate families and caregivers on applicable intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
• Follow the unique therapy plan established for a family/child, plan for ongoing treatment and address identified goals while documenting progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated.
• Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Required records must be submitted within the established timelines.

Requirements:

• Must have a passion for working with children and families!
• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Passing score on the Praxis
• Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus!

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to: driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or the use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
• The ability to ascend and descend staircases.
• The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
• The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time.

Salary - $58,000-$65,000.
