Job summary

Westchester-Putnam TheraTeam invites Clinical Fellows to join our pediatric therapy team across home, school, daycare, and community settings in Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, and Orange Counties. You’ll be mentored by experienced SLPs, build clinical confidence, and grow in a hands-on CF year.

We offer mentorship from 4 ASHA-certified SLPs, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits, with opportunities for growth within the organization after the fellowship.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and eligible for NYS SLP license and ASHA Clinical Fellowship.
• TSSLD preferred.
• Strong interest in pediatric speech-language pathology.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Access to reliable transportation to travel between service locations.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy to children with diverse communication needs.
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing treatment under supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Develop and implement evidence-based, individualized treatment plans.
• Document progress and maintain thorough, timely clinical notes per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s development.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development during the CF year.

We specialize in providing high-quality, individualized therapy services to children in home, school, daycare, and community-based settings across Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess & Orange Counties. Our CF program is designed to help you build clinical confidence while receiving strong mentorship in a real-world, hands-on environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide speech and language therapy to children with a variety of communication needs, including but not limited to speech delays, language disorders, and autism spectrum disorders.
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing treatment under the supervision of a certified and licensed SLP.
• Develop and implement evidence-based, individualized treatment plans.
• Document progress and maintain thorough, timely clinical notes in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s development.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development as part of your CF experience.
