Job summary

South Mountain Rehab Center in Boonsboro, Maryland seeks a dedicated Speech Pathologist (CF SLP) to help residents regain voice and communicate with loved ones. You will perform speech, language, and swallowing evaluations and craft personalized therapy plans that fit each resident's needs.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, educate residents and families on communication strategies, and document progress in patient records.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• ASHA certification in progress or current.
• State licensure or ability to obtain licensure.
• Passion for helping people communicate.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech, language, and swallowing evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement therapy plans to improve communication and swallowing skills.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
• Educate residents and families on communication strategies and swallowing techniques.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
